Meet Dr. Aaron Brinster

Dr. Brinster was born in Bismarck, ND and grew up in Marietta, Ohio.  He attended college at Miami University in Oxford, OH and graduated with honors in three years.  Dr. Brinster completed his dental education at the University of Michigan, where he was selected for membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.  After dental school, Dr. Brinster continued his education with a one-year oral surgery internship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.  He went on to complete a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Northwell Health-LIJ Medical Center where he was a co-resident with Dr. David Shall. 

During this program, he also completed one year of general surgery training and obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Dr. Brinster is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.  He has clinical privileges and serves on the teaching faculty at several local hospitals.  His professional interests include treatment of cleft lip and palate, dental implant placement and orthognatic and dentoalveolar surgeries.

Dr. Brinster lives with his wife Shula. He loves the University of Michigan and is an outdoors enthusiast.
