Meet Dr. Stephen M. Shall, D.D.S.

Dr. Steve Shall obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology in 1975, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1978, both completed at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Shall’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency was completed at the University of Kentuckyin Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Shall and Dr. Ziegler trained together at that residency.

Following his training, Dr. Shall moved to Toledo, Ohio where he opened a private practice. Dr. Shall has been in practice with Dr. Ziegler since 1983, and with Dr. James Mayer since 2000.

Dr. Shall is a Fellow with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, ( AAOMS ) and has maintained his status as Diplomate with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1984. ( ABOMS )

Dr. Shall maintains clinical privileges at multiple hospitals in the Toledo area, including St.Vincent, St.Anne, and St.Charles Hospitals with the Mercy Healthcare System. Dr. Shall is also on staff at Toledo and Flower Hospitals within the ProMedica System. Dr. Shall is a clinical teaching professor at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Department of Dentistry. Dr. Shall practices a full scope of maxillofacial surgery, and is active on the local level with the Toledo Dental Society. Dr. Shall is Chairman of both the Continuing Education Committee, and the Basic Life Support Training Committee, for the Toledo Dental Society.

Dr. Shall has also been active at the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio, and recently finished his term as Chairman of the Board.

During his spare time, Dr. Shall enjoys golfing and motorcycling in the warm months, and skiing in the winter time.
